Even more is lost of BWV 193a than of BWV 193. However, we do know that BWV 193a/1 corresponds to BWV 193/1, BWV 193a/7 corresponds to BWV 193/3 and BWV 193a/9 corresponds to BWV 193/5. The rest, alas, is lost. It is conjectured that both BWV 193a and BWV 193 originated in a lost Köthen original and BWV 193 was constructed a couple of weeks after BWV 193a.
