François-Adrien Boieldieu
(1775 - 1834)
François-Adrien Boieldieu (December 16, 1775 - October 8, 1834) was a French opera composer. His operas, though extremely popular in their day, have generally passed out of the active repertoire though La Dame Blanche has been recorded. However, his concerto for harp continues to be a favorite.
